Confirmation Re-Examined

This book is a collection of essays regarding the theology of Confirmation in the Anglican tradition (although it would be widely applicable to other traditions). Essayists in the book include Bishop Donald Parsons, former bishop of Quincy, IL, and the Rev. Reginald Fuller. This book examines the confused thoughts surrounding Confirmation in the post-Vatican II era of the Western church (i.e., is Confirmation a celebration of adulthood, the conveying of the Holy Spirit, both, etc.). It is an excellent single source for this discussion.
