My husband loves this book and has read the entire series. He loves all of Terry's books.

A Great Book

I read this book and others by Terry Goodkind and loved every page. My brother in law is a big fan of Terry Good kind as well and I bought this for him as a Christmas gift. He was over the top happy to get this book

Tying it all together

Any series this long runs the risk of losing its way and becoming a third rehash, a third filler and a third story. Most series' fans suffer through the two thirds to get to the one-third. Goodkind's Sword of Truth series had a couple of books that almost fell into this ditch, but not the Grand Finale, CONFESSOR. This wraps up the Chainfire Trilogy and ties up nicely the loose ends all the way back to Book One. And, finally I understand why our own world is so eternally dismal and why we continually seem to turn to new forms of the Order. Hey Creator, it isn't my fault, I vote Libertarian. I want a ticket to Goodkind's world. CONFESSOR is the perfect finish to a great series. Outstanding.

Well Done

The anxiously awaited finale' in Terry Goodkinds series was a little better than I'd expected. As the series progressed, his writing sank into a routine, punctuated by long rants about the value of life and standing up to evil. The writing style also flowed through this book, front to back, with the characters all going different directions, and the book taking us from the adventures and trials of one set of characters to another with almost every chapter. And in the end, it was once again a single simple act of magic that Richard miraculously reasoned out, without telling us about it, that solved all of the many seemingly insurmountable problems that were built up throughout the book. The ending came quickly, and was a surprise. The book was a great and fast read. And I'm not sure if I am sad more at the fact that the series is now ended, and I won't be able to follow the lives of Richard and Kahlan, Zed and the ever adventuresome Mord-Sith any longer, or if I'm just sad that the ending was somewhat bittersweet and a bit less than I'd hoped for. Anyone who has followed the tale Terry Goodkind has taken us on so far will most assuredly have to read this, the final chapter.

Very Pleased

Timely shipment. Came in mint condition. I have no negative comments what so ever, except that because it's hardback I now want to get the rest of the series in hardbook to match:)
