This book takes getting used to because it is not just road maps of Canada. It is more of a reference book than just atlas and has a wealth of information from historical to driving tips. I'm using it extensively to research and plan a trip to the Maritime Provinces and am having a good time at it!
Road Atlas of Canada gives you the big picture, but sometimes lacks detail...

As an avid genealogist, I purchased a copy of this atlas as a locator for villages and towns I had encountered in my research. While the photos and general production values are suberb, the index is not very detailed. This is a perfect companion for a cross-country drive through Canada, with many wonderful descriptions of the sights and points of interest along the way. As a research reference source, not so much... All in all, I am very pleased that I purchased it. CHT in Virginia, USA
