History for young readers just doesn't get any better than this!

For young students of colonial American history, or as preparation for a visit to a living history museum, Bobbie Kalman has presented an amazingly entertaining overview of crafts and the people who do them. Almost like a visit to Colonial Williamsburg, readers will explore the cabinetmaker, gunsmith, silversmith, wigmaker, milliner and much more! The book is lavishly illustrated with photographs of costumed historical interpreters in authentic settings and written in a lively style that is sure to captivate students. Like all of Bobbie Kalman's wonderful books, Colonial Crafts is not to be missed!
