Colombia: A Question and Answer Book

In a basic nonfiction format this book answer questions like Where is Colombia? What are Colombia's major industries? What is school like in Colombia? What are the traditional foods of Colombia? What is family life like in Colombia? The answers go beyond basic country facts and do give some information about Colombian culture. Also, though there is some generalizing they do recognize how things vary between different regions of Colombia. Also the photos and information are fairly current. Another good book for Colombian American children is the story book Liliana's Grandmothers by Colombian born writer Leyla Torres.
