Good to teach young people the importance of honesty.

Great book teaching young people the importance of not keeping secrets. This book is about some young teenagers who find themselves in the middle of trying to solve a murder while protecting their families and each other. This small group of teens are loyal to one another. They work out problems together, make plans of action together, and follow through on them. They learn the value of seeking advice from trustworthy adults, as well as identifying adults they cannot trust. Each of the main characters has strengths and weaknesses. Students who are 12-years-old and older should read this book and its two sequels: BACK BEFORE DARK, and BELOW THE SURFACE. All three books are exciting while teaching life lessons needed today. Adults like reading them also.
