How do you win? There is more to it than meets the eye!

This was one of the first books I bought long ago in my coaching career. Every coach wants to win, but many do not know how to go about doing so. Author William Warren looks at a long list of factors, many of them controllable, that lead to winning. Warren explains why these "factors" lead to winning and how to develop them. The book consists of nine chapters, each of which is then subdivided into topics relating to the overall theme of the chapter. The two chapters I found most interesting were Chapter Three - A Burning Within: The Overachiever's Approach to Winning and Chapter Eight - The Winning Formula. Also included are a lot of ideas about how to administer a winning program, organization and preparation in order to win and the importance of finding the right job. Not every situation can be a winner or perhaps does not fit the personality of the coach - both concepts are discussed in detail in the book by the way. Great book if you a coach, particularly if you are just entering the profession.
