Patricia Casey's delightful 24-page book for infants and toddlers tells the story, almostly entirely in bright watercolor illustrations, of two dogs looking for the chickens missing from their run. They are over the hill, under the laundry, down in the cabbage patch, on the clothesline. The hens make a delightful row--hence the book's title--when the dogs woof woof them back just in time for their farmyard dinner.
