Cliffsnotes Praxis II: Elementary Education (0011, 0012, 0014)

I had less than a month to study for the Elementary Ed: Content Knowledge Test (0014). I needed to take the test to become a highly qualified special educator. I looked at a lot of books before settling on this one, and I was very happy with my choice. The book gives you a brief overview of many of the topics that will be on the test so you do not have to dig through textbooks or search the web to brush up on concepts. I used this, videos on brainpop, and the ETS guide to study exclusively, and my score qualified for ETS recognition of excellence! However, like others have mentioned, the test in the back was not helpful. I purchased the retired test from ETS and found it to be a much better representation of what was actually on the test. All in all, this book was worth every penny. Good luck as you prepare for your Praxis!

Lots of information and great practice quiz. I definitely felt ready to take the 0014 praxis test after using this book!

I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with this book, maybe a couple of hours for review, after all it is just a content knowledge test. The test covers k-6 knowledge so I didn't think I would have to spend too much time studying. It is very good book for reviewing this basic knowledge. There were a couple of questions that were on the practice test in the book that were on the actual Praxis test, so I was grateful. And regretful that I didn't read it more.

This is a great book to study for the Praxis 014 test! The only downside was the practice test questions were all over unlike the real Praxis test where test questions were combined together based on subject areas of Language Arts, Math and Science. I would recommend this book.

This guide is the closest to the test that I have seen. It is easy to use, understand and study from
