City Stories: Book for Adult Beginning Readers (p)

I am part of a volunteer group who tutor adults who are learning to read almost from scratch. These folks are English speakers with at an average grade 1 level of reading. This book is TRULY A BLESSING!!! It is just the right level for them and the stories are interesting and relatable and appropriate for their age and life experience. There is so much produced for adult ESL learners but seemingly so little for English speaking adults who are learning to read. We are already planning to reread this book once we are done. We are searching for more like this but can't find anything similar... : ( THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS BOOK!!! PLEASE WRITE MOOOOOOOOORE and MORRREEEE1 : )
