Cisco Router OSPF: Design & Implementaton Guide

As a Network Planner I need to stay current on all new technology. This book is a big help. I do not have the time nor the resources to become an expert on ever protocol out there. It is great to have a book such as "Cisco Router OSPF" to help me stay current. "Cisco Router OSPF" has a detailed description of several network and routing protocols that is easy to read and simple to understand. After reading the first six chapters, I now know the reasoning behind allot of thing I just thought of as FM. Every Network Planner should have this book on the shelf.

I am amazed at some of the reviews. This book covers every command regarding RIP, IGRP, EIGRP and OSPF in a clear and concise manner and leaves nothing to the imagination. Great preparation for the IP portion of the CCIE exam. I know, I've been there!

If you want to PASS the CCIE this book is for you. Everything that you can do with RIP, IGRP, EIGRP and OSPF is included. So what if there are only 3 chapters on OSPF. This is a great book for all IP routing protocols. This book explains everything from the ground up. The configurations help you to see exactly what is going on and help you to think like a router.

If you haven't seen this book, you're definitely missing something!. An excellent book covering the finer details of OSPF design. This book should deserves more than just 5 stars!.
