Cinderella Story: My Life in Golf

Without a doubt Bill Murray comes off as the sexiest man alive in this book. Women who read this will be thrown into a wild Bill-desiring frenzy and probably tear their clothes off in public. Whoever would have thought that this Cinderella groundskeeper, just a drip from the bush leagues, would ever make it to playing foursomes with Michael Jordan, Hunter Thompson, Ethel Merman, Klaus von Bulow and Yoda, not to mention Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice? A rollicking romp down the green in a giant earth-devouring threshing machine could not be more fun than reading this book. You will desire this book more than sex or cigarettes once you have completed it. I know I do

I thought that Cinderella Story was a great book! As a golfer and a huge fan of Bill Murray I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. The pictures and captions throughout the book were also very entertaining. To understand parts of this book you have to understand the greatest game ever, golf. I just want to say one more thing: Bill - You did a great job!

I recently pcked up this book looking for a enjoyable, quick read. Not only were my expectations met, but I will be proud to have this book on my shelf for years to come. The stories from Bill's childhood are great, but it is his random thought patterns and subtle comments that are of the laugh out loud calliber. I could not put it down until it was finished. Even an occasional golfer such as myself can appreciate Murray's tales. It was excellent!

This is the first book that Bill Murray has written. I must say that Murray has really done a good job! He's funny, kinda touching and appealing all the way! He talks about his life in golf from his chilhood to the present. From being a caddy, then starring in the greatest golf movie ever made, Caddyshack; and finally become a golfer himself. Some great stories about playing golf with Michael Jordan, Clint Eastwood, Scott Simpson, and Kevin Costnar, etc. Murray also talks about his family and his will to be in show business. There're occasionally some special sections with other people's comments on Bill like Chevy Chase, etc. Furthermore, you can see some pictures of baby Murray and Murray as Pat Boone! You don't have to be a Bill Murray fan to like this book. This is a book for those who are interested in humor, movies, golf, comedy, and biography!! Read this! I enjoy every page of the book and so would you!
