If you are a collector of these wonderful glass jewels, either a new one, or a veteren collector from the early days like myself, this is one book you can't live without. It is one of the best "collectable" books on the market and it precisely captures all the ornaments produced by the firm up until it's 10th Anniversary Collection. It is also very stylistically and aesthetically pleasing (especially the Deluxe Leather Bound Edition that is signed by Christopher). It is indespensible in figuring out if you have the real thing or not and is a wonder to read.It is not, however in any means, a Price Guide. Many behind the scene stories are told. Especially about Christopher's renewel of the European Blown Glass Industry after it almost disappeared. If you collect Czech Beaded, Italian Free Blown, or Polish and German Mold Blowns this is the book you want to bring you up to date on the Early years. Also Covers the Fabalous Schaller Family produces of Papier Mache Candy Ccontainers for well over 100 years, and many historical backgrounds for various seasonal traditions.Christopher and his elves are also at work on a followup edition supposedly out late next year of early in 2005. Buy it, Read it, Enjoy
