An emotional struggle with faith

Tori, a young, widowed mother, struggles with her faith after a wildfire destroys her home, the house she had lived in her entire life. With nothing left, she and her son move in with her mother-in-law. Tori tries to deal with her emotions while putting on a front for her son. Her brother-in-law, who is also her best friend, vows to help her start over. Living in the same house may change friendship to something else.
Mindy Obenhaus has written this story in a way that makes you feel as if you are witnessing the emotional turmoil of the main characters firsthand. All the emotions are there; grief, loss, laughter, joy, and more. I did not want the story to end, it was so good. I loved the satisfying way this book wrapped up the series. I received an advance copy to read and all opinions expressed are mine alone.
