Christmas at the Little Zoo

I had this book as a child , and now have it again. I feel it is the definitive children's Christmas book. The book reads to the same rhythm as the Night Before Christmas. It's the story about zoo animals that celebrate Christmas. Pokey the polar bear is so homesick for the North Pole and misses Santa ever so much. A blizzard hits on Christmas Eve, and it looks like Santa isn't going to be able to find them. Pokey, of course, finds a way to help Santa find his way. The cover has a fuzzy Pokey the polar bear on it. Inside are two popup pages. If lucky one might find a copy with some of the original goodies (little zoo cards, balloon, measuring tape, etc.)Read & enjoy!
