Children in the Worshiping Community is a resourceful book inviting congregations to include children in the total life of the church. It offers a warm and sometimes humorous look at the pitfalls and potentials of children and worship. This valuable resource and teaching tool provides insights on child development theories as well as practical strategies for involving children in worship.
This book, and the earlier edition, has been a stand-by for me for years. It first introduced me to really appreciating children in our worship services, and I've depended on it's validity for many years. Without the foundation of this book I would not have grown in my ability to aid parents as they worship with their children, nor would I have been able to write the books I have that include our responsibility to children in worship. I highly recommend it!
