Unique, unusual, and superbly written, "Chasing Wildflowers" is highly entertaining, informative, and recommended for personal and community library collections -- and the next best thing to traveling to these various destinations in person!

I haven't laughed so much in a long time...perhaps I am easily amused. I also have been to all the places Calhoun writes about and it's great to know there are other people enjoying the plants as much as I. I would love to show this guy some of my favorite plant places and see his take. A lovely (and funny) book.
