Following our family roots was our parents' passion but they never left the United States. In June 2018, my brother, Richard Simon and I set out to make the journey back in time and across the ocean to find where our family came from. Primarily, we are Swedish and German with a few variances according to my DNA from Ancestory.com. This is the journal of our trip. We hope this book encourages others to chase their roots.
