Chase the Moon

This is absolutely the first review I have ever written so I'm afraid it's not going to be very well done. I have read hundreds of other reviews and they influence me very much in whether I purchase a book or not. I really don't know why this book has never left my mind completely, but it passes through my head ever so often. I guess it touched my heart in a special way. I love the books by Dinah McCall aka Sharon Sala, and have read many of them. If you purchase this book you will not be disappointed and I am sure it will stay in you heart as it has mine. It's been several years since I read it the first time. Enjoy!

consistently drawn characters; believable & intriguing

consistently drawn characterization with a grasp of some current law-enforcement problems. Mix this with sharply aware interpersonal interactions and enough realistic science and psychology, and one can see why this is a book not to be put down . This book joins my entire keeper shelf of Sharon Sala/Dinah McCall books, all of which are equally enthralling.

EXCELLENT!

This is one of the BEST books that I have ever read! I started to read Dinah McCall when I found out that she was also one of my Favorite authors, Sharon Sala. Chase The Moon is about a man who out for the blood of the man who murdered his brother. Jake and John Baretta were identical twins, so once John was killed, Jake was able to take his place without the people knowing. (They were investigators in a huge weaon and drug bust). This is one of the best books that I ever read and it is also one of the most moving!

As usual, Dinah McCall has pulled at my heartstrings!

Gracie Moon and Jake Baretta are wonderful. Ms. McCall fills her readers with poignance, grace, mystery and love. The world needs this above all else. The tale is heartbreaking, when Jake loses his brother, but the relationship that could have only developed between Gracie and Jake because of Jake's brothers death, is beautiful. The story has all the qualities that make a terrific romantic suspense novel. Ms. Mcall (Sala) always leaves the reader wanting more of her stories. They are terrific!

Great work taken out of today's headlines

Elijah Moon is a deeply religious person fed up with the corruption of the modern world. He establishes New Zion in the Kentucky Hills and brings together his family and friends who share his belief. He hopes that they could build a utopia on Earth. However, even Eden had a shake. In New Zion the reptile wears the form of Elijah's oldest son Brady, who has turned his father's dream into a gun running militia movement. Brady also longs for his beautiful sister Gracie, who shows an interest in the town's newcomer Jake Crockett. Jealous by the perceived threat, Brady kills Jake. Brady doesn't know that Jake Crockett is really Johnny Baretta, an ATF agent working undercover to see if he could ferret out the community's illicit activities. Nor does he know that the man has an identical twin brother, Jake, who has sworn to bring down his sibling's killer. Since Johnny's death was never made public, Jake returns to New Zion posing as his brother. He tells Elijah that somebody in the community tried to kill him. Unable to believe that anyone in his family could do such a thing, Elijah allows him to stay and discover for himself that no killer lurks in the shadows. It doesn't take long to suspect Brady, but an unexpected complication arrives when Jake falls in love with Gracie. CHASE THE MOON by Dinah McCall (aka Sharon Sala) is a rousing, action packed drama that also delivers a believable and inspiring romance. The couple, who have so many obstacles to overcome in order to make a good life for themselves, is an inspiration to the good and pious people of the world who believe that love can defeat the powers of darkness.
