Good to see a reprint of this work which teaches and reminds us on why we should remember the dead! The dead are not so dead insofar as they have passed onto another plane of existence. For those that are destined for Heaven and yet die on this plane with the stain of sin on their souls, purgation awaits them in the afterlife. This book explains how and why we should continue praying for our dead even after their physical passing on earth. For skeptics and unbelievers, this book isn't scary enough to scare any reader.
