I have met the author. She is hardly "a bitter woman." Quite the contrary. I read her other book first. This book is very different, but even more interesting. This is a very true story of her life. I guess I was simply stunned to read what she went through, even knowing why, "before" I read the book. I started reading one evening, and didn't put it down until I completed it, early the next morning. She is a strong, smart, "godly" woman.
Very informative book

Ms. Howe is an extremely strong woman. Her courage to step out of the Catholic church and to discover truth should be a great example to all. I have heard Ms. Howe speak and I believe that not only is her message the truth, but also it is presented very well. I learned a lot from her book and I am thankful for her ministry.
VERY WELL WRITTEN and extremely interesting for all.

Ms. Howe takes you through the sacrifice, rigors, humility and discipline of what it takes to become a professed nun. She shares her deep devotion and duty to God as a member of the 'religious', a Roman Catholic nun. But she senses something is missing from her life spiritually. So she seeks the truth that shatters her beliefs that have been a part of her for so many years.
