Title this a winner

First time author and memoirist Gary Palmer has learned the first rule of autobiography. Truth. And telling it eloquently no matter how painful. This is an at once a sad, joyous and gripping story of growing up on the wrong side of the tracks when those tracks happen to run through one of the more affluent communities in the Midwest. A page turner from start to finish, Mr. Palmer will capture your mind and your heart and that lump you in your throat is proof of his story telling skills. The ending is intriguing. A sequel may be in order. Mr. Palmer's writing style is straight ahead honest as he tells about unimaginable povery, neglect and ultimately abandonment. His salvation comes in the form of not one but two caring foster mothers, his love of nature, animals and sports. Title it "The Hardy Boys Meet Charles Dickens." Better yet, title it a winner.

Chagrin Falls... A Memoir

A real American story about a "never had a chance kid" that never gave up. From a shack in Ohio to the US Navy, college footballer player, teacher and coach and devoted husband and father. A wonderful true story about spirit and accomplishment in the face of odds that would scare the fearless. If you ever wanted to know about character read this book. Gary Palmer, the author, thanks those that helped him on his journey...it is us that should thank him for sharing that remarkable journey. This not a "feel good" book. This is a "FEEL GREAT" book!
