A serious coffee table book this one. Shows several houses in Scotland, Ireland and Wales and how the owners put their own stamp on it, some are residential homes, some guest houses and some museums. All of them are beautifully photographed and lovingly described by Ms Krasner. Although it's termed Celtic many times the only Celtic inspiration is the location. Still it's interesting to see the variety of buildings from 2-3 room cottages to palatial country homes and the variety of ways people have decorated or used the spaces. A book for finding inspiration on touches to add to your own, includes a directory of some suppliers including some who do mail order. However as it was originally published in 1990 some of these suppliers may no longer be in existence.
