I enjoyed this book very much. It was filled with the acceptance of the special child who so often is scorned. We have a special child in our family, and we all love him very much.
Another Great Read.

May I comment on the delightful portrayal of a special needs child; her mom, the newly introduction of her birth father, friends; trials and tribulations so truthfully told. I laughed, cried along with each page and lived every moment of it. It touched my heart. Why? I am a retired special education teacher for 25 years -- teaching, loving, understanding and devoted to the worth of special children.
Amy Frazier's Best Book yet!!

This is a sensitive portrayal of the "special" child. The insightful character outline of the lady/doctor/mother is quite wonderful. Then the father's evolution from feeling the 'outsider' to his consternation about his daughter not being so-called "normal" - to his full acceptance of the flaws in all of us is truly a gem of development. Not to mention the sassy sentence structure that we have come to rely on in all of Ms. Frazier's books. We loved it! JML and MHL.
