Cathedrals (First Discovery series)

These "First Discovery" books are always a hit in my house, and this is no exception. I really like the explanations and overlays that are in this book. It's a terrific book if you are heading to Europe and have 4 or 6 year-olds in tow, and can see the real Cathedrals up close! If not, this is the next, best thing for young children and early readers. All "First Discovery" books have clear, overlay pictures inside, so it's easy to see the inner workings or build-up of something. I really recommend this book if you have a budding Medievalist, or enjoy any of the other books in this series.
