Cat Caught My Heart: Stories of Wisdom, Hope, and Purrfect Love

I wonder if some of previous readers actually read this book. NEWSLASH!! Cats die! People die! If readers don't want to hear about the death of a beloved pet, I don't think you should read animal stories. I agree with one of the reviews that NO, not all these were about the death of pet. This was a wonderful book and I am actually a dog person. If you were going to write a book about your pet, wouldn't you include the sad experiences you had?? I would and I have had many dogs. Since I am not very knowledgeable about cats, I thought there was a vacine for feline leukemia??? Why did several outdoor cats die of this? Within the first sentence I recognized the admirable vet, James Herriott on two of the stories!! Also love Allen Schoen and Susan Chernak McElroy. This book made me think about getting a cat.

If you love cats, you will love this book. It's all about real people's relationships with their cats. The stories are funny and sad and sometimes amazing, but they are consistently touching. And contrary to the previously review, the stories are NOT all about cats dying!

If you love cats, you will love this book, which is a collection of true stories about cats and the people they love. You'll laugh and you'll cry as you remember how many of the stories also happened to you and your cat. When you're finished, you will want to get another cat, or at least feel compelled to send a donation to the nearest shelter.
