A simple book about so much more

Bogacki's playful, painterly style sets the tone for this short and sweet tale about the inherent goodness and innocence of children. From the first page--where the mamma mouse is gigantic--I smiled. In fact, this story about friendship will make both adults and children alike smile. Although the story is simple, there's a deeper message underneath--one about how prejudice and fear are learned, and how children look at the world with a beautiful freshness.
