An all-new format and story based on the best-selling Can You See What I See? series Seymour, a character in both CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE? and DREAM MACHINE, has his very own story in this 9x9 paper-over-board storybook
THIS BOOK STARS A LITTLE RED AND YELLOW "BEAD MAN" NAMED SEYMOUR. HE MAKES APERANCES IN EVERY SCENE, IN ALL OF WALTER WICK'S "CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE" BOOKS. WALTER WICK, THE AUTHOR, DID THE SCENES FOR THE "I SPY" BOOKS, AND ALSO WROTE "A DROP OF WATER" AND "WALTER WICK'S OPTICAL TRICKS" AS WELL AS THE "CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE" BOOKS, IN WHICH SEYMOUR FIRST APPEARED IN. THIS IS SEYMOUR'S FIRST BOOK TO HIMSELF. ALSO TRY "SEYMOUR MAKES NEW FRIENDS". THE "SEYMOUR" BOOKS ARE MUCH SIMPLER THAN "I SPY" AND "CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE" BUT ARE PERFECT FOR AGES 3-4. BEFORE THAT, TRY THE CANYOU SEE WHAT I SEE" DINOSAUR BOARD BOOK, AND THE LITTLE "I SPY" BOARD BOOKS. AFTERWARD, TRY THE REAL BOOKS, AND YOU'LL FIND A TRUE TREASURE. THE BOTTOM LINE: GREAT VALUE, BUT BETTER TO BUY WITH THE SEQUEL.

I bought one copy of this book for my twins to share, and it has been a tug of war ever since. They are 2 and a half y.o., and they love to find the items. we actually have to ask them to find items that aren't listed, they are so excited to seek and find the items. It's a great tool for teaching observation skills, gets them to focus. Highly recommend this book. I'll be giving it as gifts to our play friends, too.
Perfect for pre-schoolers!

Great for pre-readers. My son's love this book. They have it memorized and I am looking for another one like this. It is great for the car to keep them busy looking for the items in the pictures. Enjoy!
We Love Seymour

My 3-year old daughter was first introduced to the I SPY series through her older brother's computer software. She loves the large picture puzzle books and some of the I SPY JR books did not hold her interest. She needed something in between and Seymour is the answer. We have read this book almost every night since her brother picked it up for her at a school book fair. She loves finding Seymour on every page. She can find all of the pictures fairly quickly but Seymour definitely won her over while building his juice box boat!
for a younger child than the previous book

I was initially disappointed to see that the latest Seymour book was much simpler than the last. It is, however, very well-planned in a way that can appeal better to a 2-6 year old. My son is three and he loves it. He has loved all the big I Spy books and their spawn, but he can grasp this story in a more complete manner than he could its predecessors.
