I don't remember why this one was on my list...but so glad it was!

It hooked me within the first 2 paragraphs and I literally finished in 24 hours. I don't remember why I even ordered it or who recommended it to me but I am so glad they did. Realistic fiction with fabulous, descriptive narrative. The story moved right along and kept me involved right to the end.
I’d never recommend

If you want an inspiring uplifting read then don’t pick this one up. I finished it several days ago and still have a haunting depressed feeling every time I think about it. It was compared to the book To Kill A Mockingbird but there is no comparison. It’s not in the same league.
Never dismiss your heart...

I love a good southern read and Calling Me Home is right up there at the top!
Miss Isabelle falls in love with Robert in a time when interracial relationships were taboo. Their love and trials will tug your heartstrings. These characters feel like family all the way through.
