Gullick's book is an excellent book for teaching the sequence of calculus. It is careful on definitions and contains a great variety of examples and exercises. Gullick's book doesn't focus on computational calculations and it is more concerned with some conceptual aspects of calculus. From this perspective it becomes more directed to students of science rather than engineering.
