      Books that inspire reading

      This is a really good series for young boys and girls who are having a hard time with reading. Its about 2-3 grade level and appeals to kids with a liking for solving things. I think the subject matter would appeal to [...] who read well too. I start out reading it with my grandsons and when they get interested, I find something I just have to do - but let them read on their own until I get back. Seems to work!

      If your kids like mysteries and learning how police use science to solve crimes, this is the series for you! It's wonderful - and non-threatening. My kids read these books over and over. They're having fun and learning at the same time.
