I am always interested in a book about faith that is not tied into the "name it and claim it" crowd. Whatever your feelings are about Pastor Falwell, you have to admit that he has done some great things in his ministry. I am probably going to use this book in conjuction with a one month sermon series.

For those new to Christianity, this book is an excellent guide to doing exactly what the title suggests; for those already in the faith, it will serve as a solid refresher. In addition, Dr. Falwell uses quite a few personal examples, making the book that much more interesting and sometimes a little surprising, as well as an easy read. Though I think it could have been better organized, or perhaps just differently (hence the four stars), this should not detract from its value to those interested in "building dynamic faith." Overall, I was very pleased with the book and plan to read it again someday.

Wow, I'm at a loss. The previous respondent obviously has an axe to grind! First of all he may need geological and basic earth science lessons. The feature on the cover of this book appears to be a mountain, and I'm not a scientist like Ken Hamm whom the critic mentions quite negatively. I'm no expert but a mountain and a volcano look quite different from one another. Maybe that science fair project I did in elementary school gives me a little more insight than Mr. Teerlinck. The usage of the mountain obviously eludes to the explanation of faith like a mustard seed and faith to move mountains in the Bible. That's also a must read and I would encourage Mr. Teerlinck to check out that volume. As far as items offered in Jerry's Liberty Journal, just like any ministry those items are always offered for more than their actual worth, that's how they make their money to pay their bills! Haven't you ever seen a public television telethon. Do you really think the Andre Rieu DVD is really 'worth' what the donation price is? C'mon Teerlinck, you gotta be smarter than that! Your hostility toward Christianity is clear and Jerry is an easy target because he pushes your buttons. So, enjoy being in the minority of Americans as an evolutionist and Christian basher. You are loud but vastly outnumbered, thankfully. By the way, if you're a Christian looking to learn to fine-tune your faith this is a terrific book. This man, Falwell has led by example and has attempted great things for our Lord based upon his deep faith. I know, I've seen him in action and I've witnessed his integrity firsthand.
