Horribly Great

It was soo good I have to read it over and over and over and over again. The story is so enthralling and it totally sucked me in just like the ones before it. I love it! ^^

Terrific book, engaging characters

Probably my favorite thus far. Marston does a wonderful job with her characters, making them vivid and alive.Unlike some authors whose characters are one dimentional. Characters so well done that they "spill" into later books. Her books are always a joy to read, the only "fault" is that I wish she could write them even faster than she does!

I hold Miss Marston in the highest regard!

Ann Marston is amazing! I can proudly say that "Kingmakers Sword" turned me into a fantasy nut! Her first three books threw me into a world that I never knew existed! The magic, coupled with action and just enough romance make all of her books dinamic. "Broken Blade" left me hungry for more and I am glad to know she is not done writing!

Spellbinding fantasy and a Celtic-lover's dreams on paper!

Call me a sucker for Celtic fantasy, but the visions and dreamwoven sequences in this trilogy has got me in Celtic-heaven. I have read all three books of the Rune Blade Trilogy and I have never been so caught in a set of books all my life. And just when I thought it was over, I encounter a fourth book which will start a brand new trilogy. I cannot wait to read it. "Kingmaker's Sword" got me completely wanting for more, "Western King" got me hopelessly caught and "Broken Blade" just kept me simply speechless with awe. Ispiration has never struck so deep of the times when kilts and clan badges were symbols of strength and when Dances on top of hills became alive with spiritual belief. The word trilogy has never invokes as much anticipation. We want more Miss Marston.

Broken Blade an excellent end to a thrilogy

After searching for a new author following the arrival of J.V. Jones, Marston is a hit with her final volume of the three part Rune-Blade Trilogy. In the tradition of Rawn, Marston adds a unique perspective in fantasy by breathing life into her characters as Brynda finds her quest almost unbearable. Marston uses the language of magic to tie up the dynasty of Kian and Kerri as the Island of Ceri faces it's most dire challenge. For those who enjoyed Rawn, Marston is a treat
