Breakaway

I enjoyed the latest book in the Hideaway series. Breakaway by Rochelle Alers has the right mixture of romance and suspense. From the moment Gavin meets Celia, I knew these two would be an interesting couple to read about. Their story kept me glued to the pages. Breakaway was a quick fast read for me.

Could not wait to read this book! I'm a big fan of Rochelle Alers and the Hideaway series. My favorite heroes are from her books Merrick Grayslake (Stranger In My Arms) and Sheldon Blackstone (Beyond Business) Loved the chemistry between Celia & Gavin. There coming together was little quick and somewhate unbeliveable but did not take away from the story. It was great to catch up with the Blackstones of Virginia and I can't wait for Nicholas and Peyton's story. This story is a good addition to the Hideaway series. Well done Ms. Alers.

I loved this book. I am a huge fan of Rochelle Alers and her Hideaway series and once again the latest installment does not disappoint. It was a good thing to see that Celia Cole-Thomas got her own story because we were introduced to her in Secret Agenda and I always felt that her relationship with Yale wouldn't last for some reason. Gavin proves to be a great balance for Celia and the story carries on nicely. If you are a fan of Alers and her Hideaway series this book will not disappoint.

Rating: 4.5 Another long awaiting Hideaway book. I tell they keep getting better and better. It is always good to read about them COLES. With another great book under her belt Rochelle has given us another Cole and Celia is every bit of a Cole. Dr. Celia Cole Thomas is sister of Diego and her story center around the Emergency Room during her shift something happen where it change her entire life. Celia has taken a leave of absence from the hospital after the accident and has decided she needs a change of pace and location so she head to her house in North Carolina. Gavin Faulkner is an FBI agent on is being sent on assignment in North Carolina to track down a killer by the name of Roy Perkins. While in North Carolina Gavin make himself comfort in the cabinet. He decides to go the grocery store and there is where he met Celia. Celia is Nancy's granddaughter and let me tell you if you all remember Nancy in the earlier books then you know what I am talking about. Celia has her grand mother mouth and wit, but Gavin is just the man for her. Gavin holds his own with Celia. You will also notice Celia mention a cousin and his name is Nathaniel Mitchell if you want to learn more about Nathaniel you can read his love story in "More Than Words" this is a book that Harlequin put out every year with about 4 to 6 different authors who contributor a story to real life heroines to there respective charities. Rochelle was one of the contributor authors this year and her story was about Nathanial & Kendra. I recommend this book for several reason, 1. You get another related Cole story, 2. It's a great second chance love story. You are going to love this couple. I recommend this book it is good. Louise

I started this book last night around 7:30 pm and finished it this morning. Rochelle Alers has done it again. This story kept my interest from the first page to the last page. I loved the way she put together her story lines. I can't wait for the next one to come out. Keep up the good work.
