She feels as if she has been set up by his family. As their attraction growns, Kate is mightily conflicted. Elliot is still in love with his dead wife and has made it very clear that there is no place for another woman in his life.Ms. Detmer Riggs has a fantastic book here, rife with realistic emotions and healing heartbreak.The payoff was immensely satisfying. The only problem I had with the book was a minor one. The plot background was a little jarring and may have been ebtter served in a prequel of sorts.

Anyone who hasn't read a Paula Detmer Riggs novel is missing out! She is absolutely wonderful. The characters practically leap off the page, straight into your heart, especially her heroes. Where does she come up with all these sexy, absolutely divine men?Kudos, Paula. I drooled over Taming the Night. You didn't disappoint me with this book. Definitely a must read and a keeper that you'll never forget. This lady is an amazing talent.
