I really do like this book but it is misnamed. This is not a book on woodworking itself although there is some good information at the beginning. Buuuuut, 90% of the book is project plans. Don't get me wrong, I am more than glad to cut to the chase and get to the sawdust part but the title is somewhat deceptive. This book is out of print so grab up a copy while you can. But keep in mind what it is and what it is not.

This book by the guru of woodworking is basic and instructional for the beginner or intermediate woodworker. A few of the projects he gives instructions for, along with many, many illustrations, are a corner shelf unit, cottage stools, dining chair, Welsh dresser, nest of tables, country-style bookcase...everything from a corner shelf unit to a gazebo. I think you will appreciate and benefit from his informative instructions and diagrams in this book.
