Fifth in a Series of Fun and Enjoyable Books, Much Like a Paperback Version of Kung Fu Theater

This series of books follows the life of Brett (Ashford) Wallace as he becomes a victim in a horrendously horrible crime that takes the life of his parents and his new bride, and follows him into the murky and mysterious world of the Ninja. Brett spends nine years training in Japan with the top Ninja Masters in the world and eventually becomes one of their numbers, when he is unofficially recognized as one of the top five Ninja in the world. Brett then returns to the United States where he becomes, for lack of a better term, a Ninja vigilante in the style of Batman, where he selects and then takes on the most horrendous criminals not only in the United States, but also other parts of the world. Along the way he picks up a beautiful Japanese lover by the name of Rhea and a dedicated protégé in the form of Jeff Archer. The basic plot of this fifth book in the series finds Brett battling for his life after an old enemy from his past comes back into his life. Although Brett is himself a Ninja Master, he is about to come up against his greatest threat so far, in the guise of another ninja master. This book is perhaps my favorite one out of this first series.. Here are the other seven (7) books in this first series of books dealing with Brett Wallace, the Ninja Master. Ninja Master No. 1: Vengeance Is His Mountain of Fear (Ninja Master No. 2) Ninja Master #3. Borderland Of Hell Million-Dollar Massacre (Ninja Master No. 4) Ninja Master No. 6: Death's Door The Skin Swindle (Ninja Master No. 7) Only the Good Die (Ninja Master No. 8) These books are very easy to read and are very fast paced. Coming in at roughly under 200 pages, this is just the type of book that you can sit down and finish in a couple of hours of steady reading. You are not going to gain any real literary knowledge like that which you might gain from reading someone like Tolstoy, but that is not the point of these books. They are meant to be easy to read and offer a brief fantastical escape into a world of highly trained and skilled martial artists who always beat the bad guys and get the girls, in some cases more than one, and have a great time doing it.
