History is Madness

Ten more ghosts down and it is alsmost time for Dinah to get her newest helper. The boys have even gone out into the human world and navigated a mall - no small task - and have gotten her a present. The only problem is that someone has broken in while everyone was away, the newest sister is nowhere to be found, and the heart of the place is gone. Worse still, the town is going made and nobody knows what to do. Will the souls here be lost? Is the newest sister a traitor? Will the boys be able to find something to help Dinah? You find out this PLUS you find out the town's history in this newest installment of the series. This series has been going on for a while and I truly like it. i find the fact that hunting down spirits in the dark is dangerous an obvious choice, that giving gold as a downpayment is an odd thing to have to do, and that the cleaners of the place are terrible things. I also find the town more and more bizarre each time we visit it, and I've wondered about the history it hides. That's why this issue works out so much because it says what has happened. It also says something about the monument outside, what happened to turn this place so strange, and why the graveyard my still be here. It also shows us a problem that could be coming and introduces a new face, making the story more complex. Personally I like the complexity here, as well as the way things have been going. There is something about the books that keeps me coming back and it involves storylines, inking, great drawings, and even the odd little doodles we sometimes get. Authors can do funny stuff and I commend them for it. If you haven't checked the series out, it only gets better. We lost a main character, have learned about death itself, have seen where souls get lost, and understand what dreaming forever means. It all adds up to be something unique and, well, addictive. I waited three months for this issue to come out with semi-baited breath.
