Bitter Roots

John L. Moore begins a yarn and expands it into a tapestry par excellance. As a [fellow] seeker of Christ, I saw myself in the narrator of the story when she was annoyed by a fellow Christian (Marci) and haunted by the word picture given by the author of the living experience of hell after the body dies. Further I was captured by the heaven he described where truly we are not our own but bought by the price of Christ's blood -- all of our works are of no account -- good or bad -- unless they are part of the Father's plan for our individual lives. This is an outstanding book -- well-written and thought-provoking.

Tough, sassy, honest..John L. Moore's writing is everything a man could want. In no-nonsense language, Moore creates memorable characters, men clawed from the hard earth they work for a living.
