Big Book of Crochet (Leisure Arts #3850)

This book has a ton of projects. Unfortunately, most of the projects are dated. There's 5 doilies projects. For beginners to advanced practitioners.

This book has tons of great projects, from doilies to afghans to mittens. It is well worth the money to get so many patterns that I will use. The instructions have been easy to follow so far, and I haven't found any errors.

This is one of my favorites out of about a dozen or so that I've purchased recently. I think it has a lot of cute ideas, and I've made a couple of the projects. I found them easy to understand and follow. I first found this at the library, which is when I decided to add it to my evergrowing book collection.

I have made several afghans and baby afghans from this book and the instructions are excellent. I really love the look of the completed afghans. Of all crochet project books I own, this one is the one I turn to the most. I bought this book at full price, so the 14.95 price is a steal.

... I currently (10/2005) have two projects going from this book for the holidays (2005), and have three more on my to-do list for the first of the year. Nothing spectacular here, but spectacular is not what I'm generally looking for in everyday crochet projects. Some books have gorgegous projects... that I'll never make but love to look at! There are a variety of projects that are practical and useful and fun to make. That's what *I* look for when investing in a book of patterns and ideas. :-)

This is a great book. I found it at the Library and had to have it. So many projects that a person would actually make. I have already crocheted the lace around the baby socks and given them as a gift. Great Book!!!
