bff: A Girlfriend Book You Write 2gether

You might have read Lauren Myracle's "TTYL" "TTFN" and "l8r, g8r" books, and if you did it's no surprise as to why you are on this page looking at "BFF". You might be thinking that, because the first three books were so great (that's if you liked them), this one was going to be great too. Well, unless you have a bunch of REALLY close bffs, this book is useless to you. This is NOT a reading book like "TTYL". "BFF" is actually an activity book of sorts meant for bffs to take quizzes and write about their time together. The winsome threesome, Zoe, Maddie, and Angela are present and talk as if they are talking to you (and your bffs, if you have any), and they give you questions that you and your friends answer and write IN the book with the lines provided to you. Bffs could look at this book years from now and see what they'd written and laugh and talk about it. When I bought this book it was at a bookstore and I bought it with the other three books. All four of them were on the same shelf together in the YA section, so anyone wanting to buy the series (like me) wouldn't think twice about buying this one because they assume automatically it's a regular book. I started reading the books and when I got to this one I was a bit shocked that it wasn't what I had thought it was. By that point it was too late for me to return it, so now I am out ten dollars for a hardcover book I have no use for. I'd rather rate it three stars but am rating it four stars instead because although the book is useless to me, I'm sure there are girls out there who would enjoy using this book. Also, if you haven't read any of the other books in the "TTYL" series, you should!
