There is an antiquated viewpoint to all of these amalgams but that's because of the date they were created. Some combination's like the "Shutterbutt" (half sheep/half camera) would be confusing to modern viewers unless they're a camera buff like I am but the images are all interesting and funny. Pre-photoshop images are actually pretty good.

I received this book as a gift years ago, and it's something I dig out of my bookcase about once a year to giggle at. What makes this book is the style of art - I am not sure what it's called but I think it's like old fashioned "newspaper drawing" style from before they had photography in the newspapers. This is especially recommended for kids who enjoy/notice art and have a sense of humor. This book may have gotten me started on drawing morphed animals, and when I draw that kind of stuff for kids, they love it. Highly recommended!
