The Classic for Raised Bed Gardening
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
I actually attended a class in Oregon with Peter Chan on Raised Bed Gardening in late 70's. Peter Chan was a humble knowledgeable teacher on this subject. Get this classic book as you will truly not need another source. The Chinese have been gardening this way for a long time and know what they are doing. Peter Chan put it all in a simple easy book that anyone can follow and be instantly successful! I bought an autographed copy from Peter and am glad to see it is still in circulation. It is a wealth of down to earth usable knowledge with beautiful pictures of Peter's own gardens. You can't go wrong buying this book.

Buy the cheap one, no need for more. Beautiful pictures, practical information, great tips for off-the-grid home food growing in a sustainable method that is also fun and nice to look at. If more of us did this instead of buying asparagus from patagonia, we could slow global warming
