An Adult Education Teacher's Thoughts

Being an adult education teacher for the past 10 years, I have come across many adults who are not very good readers. In fact, the average American reads somewhere around a 6th or 7th grade level. Dr. Sauvage's book is written in easily understood language. This is so important for those adults who need to adjust their lifestyle, but need information that they can readily comprehend. Dr. Sauvage's book is excellent in that it is written so the average reader can understand it, but is not so simplistic that those on a higher reading level can also find a detailed way to become healthier through diet and exercise. I plan to use this book in my classes as an example of how to write. Huge vocabulary words and lengthy sentences will not keep the average person's attention. With so many diet books on the market, it is so important to have a health guide that can be easily understood and uncomplicated. I would recommend this book to everyone. In fact, I already have. Thank you, Dr. Sauvage.

This is the best!

Thrown out all your other diet books. This one - I can do. It makes sense. I don't have to buy special foods. There's no gimmick to it. It's easy to follow. And - I looked up info about the author. He's the most credible of anyone in the field. I wish there were 6 stars - I'd give it 6+!

Reading and following the common-sense diet and exercise advice in this small book of marvelous ideas is within the scope of anybody willing to start with small steps.This modest-looking volume with a practical can-do life-plan of food, exercise, and stress management belongs in everyone's library as a read-over-and-over guide to feeling better and living a higher quality life. Get this book immediately and just do it!

Dr. Sauvage's book is informative, easy to understand and a breeze to follow. It requires no special foods or tools and follows no fads. It is simply a way of life, and the change in energy level and overall sense of well-being can be felt almost immediately. Another valuable installment in his book library and a great companion for The Open Heart and You Can Beat Heart Disease.
