B & B recipes galore! Wonderful cookbook for B & B enthusiasts!

We are devoted B & B folks and always choose to stay at one of these many exceptional 'homes away from home' when we are out traveling. One of the great pleasures we've discovered is the wonderful regional dishes we've been able to sample along the way that make each B & B experience unique and quite special. Imagine my joy when discovering this cookbook with its many superb recipes from country inns and Bed & Breakfasts from across the country. This cookbook has the quality look in its production values of the Better Homes & Gardens publications -- glorious photographs, well-chosen and edited recipes, and a sense of the inspired and inspirational inn-keepers and B & B hosts behind these wonderful establishments. (The Index is excellent and helps in locating the inns as well as in finding the book's recipes easily.) Our favorites among the delightful recipes in this cookbook are the Caviar Pie (a marvelous canape), the grilled lamb with honey-mustard sauce, the amaretto cheesecake (very easy!), and the roquefort-vegetable soup. But even if those are our favorites (made many times!), we have enjoyed all the recipes we've tried so far -- and all of them have come out wonderfully. Even if a regional sampling is offered, the ingredients are easy to come by in most well-assorted grocery stores. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who is looking for unique and delicious regional recipes, as well as to anyone interested in learning more about the culture being born with the revitalization of country inns and the many new B & Bs sprouting up all over the country. I wouldn't part with my copy of this book for anything.
