Betsey's Wishes is an interesting look at the process of making cloth from flax.

This book is an historically correct look at the work that making a dress used to take. It was not a simple process of going to Walmart and picking it off of the rack. The writer has researched her topic well. It is an interesting look at colonial life. I read it to my 4th and 5th graders at story time. We all really enjoyed it.
