Bethany's Rite - Illyrian Destiny

I really liked this book. The male is the right amount of insensative, macho man who eventually figures it out. The female is strong and determined, but not to the point where her determination wanes and becomes too redundant of a plot point. The sex scenes are excellent, but the best part of the book is how the two characters develop a relationship without one having to totally change to suit the other. The writer has a good voice. The flow was smooth, leading the reader through the book without every breaking the "reality" of the story with stunted writing or ackward scenes. Unfortunately I don't think the other two books in this series are half as good as this one. This book has all the right ingridents, spunky/headstrong female, hot/rough in love man, and a plot that holds together as the book progresses.

Wyc is a masterful lover who knows all the right moves to turn Bethany inside out. Wyc savage alpha persona is so sexy; it will make you squirm in your seat! Even with his large size and strong mannerisms, he can be a pussycat with Bethany. Wyc will have his hands full with the strong-willed Bethany. She has done things her way for most of her life and no matter how gorgeous Wyc is Bethany will try to elude his carnal domination. Will Wyc be able to convince this beauty that they are fated mates and fulfill the foretold prophecy to keep Ilyria safe?
