When a book editor suspects she's the target of a rejected author-turned-murderer, she's determined to track him down before she--or someone she loves--becomes his next victim. Original. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I liked this book as a mystery book. The romance was sweet too, but the mystery was where it was strongest. I was surprised by the end and just overall very much enjoyed the story.
Don't judge a book by its cover!

I was a bit hesitant at first with Best of Luck Elsewhere based on the fact that the cover looks a little like it was designed in MS Word, but I'm glad I picked it up because what was inside was sheer bliss. First off, there's plenty of steam in the love scenes, but between them is a surprisingly deep and engrossing mystery story (that had me guessing "whodunnit" until the shocking and satisfying end) full of intriguing, unique characters and clever, suspenseful writing. From the first few pages I was hooked. I also enjoyed seeing landmarks from my native San Diego pop up throughout the book. I HIGHLY recommend Best of Luck Elsewhere and cannot wait to read what Trisha writes next!
Finally a hero that isn't a jerk

I like that this book has a hero that isn't a jerk. Too many romance books have this goodlooking jerk who the heroine has to reform by her love. Adam, the main guy in the book, is a decent person who is also goodlooking. It gives the heroine some credit for choosing someone good, and not falling for someone just for his looks and not his personality. A good read, I was suyrprised by the murderer, though once it comes out, I get it. Also, as I commented on the "Kid's Review" on here, this is NOT a kid's book. Parents, buy this for yourself, but not for your little one/.
Great Start...........

I really enjoyed this novel. There was a good amount of mystery, mixed in with romance. I can relate to Eliza's feelings of not knowing where her life is going and I think the author described this perfectly. I fell in love with Adam myself and wonder if there is an Adam out there for me! LOL! Reader will not be disappointed with this story. Great start for Trisha
Great down time reading

This is a great book to bring with you to read when you have some down time. It keeps you guessing "whodunit" up and until the last minute. Can't wait till her (Trisha Haddad) next book comes out!!
