The Clique is Back, The Plot is thickening

The Pretty Committee is back, in this great sequel to the already awesome novel, "The Clique". In this book, the plot takes a wild turn when Massie decieds to beat two girls to having a boy/girl Halloween party. She gets caught up in the spirit, when she and the rest of the Pretty Committee where their hot, new Halloween costumes to school, and get detention. They then have the Halloween party, but one of the girls is not permitted to attend, because of the detention. The party is also not all it's cracked up to be, because Massie finds out her crush likes someone else. Then, the worst happens. Something that might actually tear Massie and Alicia apart... This sequel shows that a great story can keep going on. I highly reccommend this romantic, true, and funny book.

You Can't Put It Down

ALL the girls in my school were reading this book and saying how good it was. So I thought I would give it a try, one of the best desicions ever. When I picked up at home my mom had to tell me to stop reading which is a very rare thing let me tell you. In this book all of these things happen: betral jealousy friendship understanding boy-watching and a lot of shopping After you read this book I bet you will be hooked liked I was. So I suggest when you order this order the whole series.

The Clique is back...

The Clique is definitely Back in Black Chanel- ahvcourse. Kuh-laire might actually have a life, after all! Massie is absolutely determined to maintain her position as most popular girl at OCD. So, naturally, she has to host the year's Halloween Blowout-and can't let ANYTHING ruin it. At the same time, Claire's eye is caught by Cam- and little does she know, the feeling is mutual. Claire begins to rise on Massie's terms, while Dylan struggles with weight loss, Kristin struggles with life, and Alicia has a new best friend, Olivia, the nose-jobbed air-head Massie loves to hate. A great addition to the series, and a total must read.

Best Friends For Never

Best Friends for Never is about a group of girls named Massie , Claire , Dylan , Kristen and Alicia. They call thereselfs the "Clique". But at the first of the book Claire does not fit in with all the other girls but she tries her best to fit in. Massie decides to through a Halloween party for her school and the Brainwood Boys school. But the party ends up being a disaster between the 5 friends. Claire dances with Massie's crush ... I'll let you figure out what else happenes at the Halloween party when you read the book yourslef. But they all become friends again when their school is forced to start wearing uniforms and the girls get to desgin the uniforms and have a competetion to see which group designed the best uniform. Massie , Dylan , Kristen , and Claire are all working together in one group but Alicia works with her so called new "Best Friend" Olivia. But I'll let you figure out who wins! I would highly recommend this book for teenage girls. It deals with most problems teenage girls have. I recommend this book cause it is very interesting. When you start reading , it is hard to stop. When you read this review for this book I hope you decide to read it, if you haven't read it already. * Kristen M. * AkA- K-Ten

Scandalous Sequel to 'The Clique'

The Clique (Massie Block, Dylan Marvil, Kristen Gregory, Alicia Rivera, and, of course, the wannabe, Claire Lyons), are back for another shot at ruling the school. Seventh grade Massie is still the most popular girl at OCD (Octavian Day School), and to prove that, she plans on throwing OCD's first ever boy/girl Halloween party. However, Massie is unsure which is worse, being forced to throw the party with Claire (the un-popular girl who wants to be in), or having to invite the entire grade, even the geeks! Dylan, on the other hand, has finally lost the extra weight she was carrying around, and is now determined to use her new body to catch a new, super-cute guy. Kristen knows one thing, while clothes are for sharing, guys aren't, which is why she plans on catching the guy who Dylan likes, as she likes him as well, and keep him to herself. And she'll do anything it takes. Alicia sees that The Clique is at each others throats, and she plans on taking it over, and being the new hipster her rules OCD. Then there's Claire. Poor, sweet Claire. She doesn't know what she's in for. The Clique is back and more spiteful than ever. While I have not read the first CLIQUE novel, I was able to understand what was going on with the characters, and keep up with the commentary in BEST FRIENDS FOR NEVER, thanks to Lisi Harrison's fantastic way of re-capping what happened in the previous novel. However, after reading BEST FRIENDS FOR NEVER, I find myself craving more of THE CLIQUE. Each girl is unique in her own way, while at the same time making sure not to be too unique, as being unique can easily make you an outcast. I found THE CLIQUE to be a juicy new series that will appeal to girls who are too young for Cecily von Ziegesar's popular teen series GOSSIP GIRL, but interested in reading about the goings on in a popular girls clique. Fans of the movie MEAN GIRLS, starring Lindsay Lohan, will find this new pre-teen/teen fiction to be scandalous, but not racy, and find themselves unable to put this book down until the very last word is read.
