The homemade kite is the best

They enter their homemade kite into the kite flying contest. Despite criticism from those with fancier store bought kites, and initial set backs, the Bear family keeps trying and wins. This book is well worth buying -- it teaches a lesson and is a fun to read rhyming Berenstain Bear book.
Big Red Kite is a real winner

Sister and brother bear would like to compete in a kite flying competition, but they have no kite. Papa bear makes one homemade. At first it doesnt fly high, but then a big gust of wind comes and all the other fancy kites break and they win the competition.

i loved this book. i loved it when papa, brother mama, and sister bear won the big red kite contest. :)
